Palermo, Sicily
After the Vespa and Fiat 500, I’d say the third most important set of wheels in Italy is the Ape car. This three-wheeled car is famously seen making deliveries in small towns, cruising down the alleyways selling flowers in big cities, and a staple at any open-air market in Italy. This mustard-colored Ape was a fixture next to the corner vegetable stand in the Capo market in Palermo. What a mood.
